Smokeball Sparks Conference for Small Law Firms
With Australian small law practitioners prioritising growing their client base, improving profitability, and improving operations and workflows as their top three challenges for the next 12 months, Smokeball has specifically designed a premier conference experience, Smokeball Spark, to answer those needs.
Welcoming a standout collection of inspirational keynotes, industry experts and technological innovators across two unique streams, Smokeball Spark offers a diverse range of learning opportunities, resources, and new tools to assist small law firms and sole practitioners to ignite their business transformation and establish thriving legal practices.
“Too often legal conferences focus on the big end of town, so we are very proud to specifically design an exciting conference for small law and sole practitioners,” explains Hunter Steele, CEO, Smokeball. “We know from both extensive research and our daily interactions that the needs of our community are unique. They need information and advice for business growth that can be incorporated into their practice quickly and easily, ideas to improve profitability and operations that will transform and supercharge their businesses and that are guaranteed to work.”
“Small law doesn’t have time to experiment, they are too busy practising the law, so we have created an experience that answers those questions in a way that is immediately applicable and not overwhelming. And most importantly we want them to have fun which is why we are very invested in building a totally different experience for delegates,” he adds.
The event to be held on 17 February 2023 in Sydney will kick off with keynote speaker disruption strategist Holly Ransom who will speak on the process of turning innovative ideas into action and how to build a change roadmap that is easily executed.
It closes with keynote Sam Bloom, the two times world para surfing champion and inspiration behind the movie Penguin Bloom. Sam will talk about resilience and how to cultivate it when things don’t go to plan through sharing her personal story on navigating personal and professional challenges.
The day is packed full of inspirational industry speakers including:
