Dentons partner with Intanify to identify IP risks.

Dentons Joins with Intanify to Uncover IP Risks Sooner

Intanify, a VC-backed AI fintech startup, announced a groundbreaking partnership with Dentons, the world’s largest law firm.

Intanify has developed knowledge graphs covering IP due diligence and risk together with AI Professor Viktor Dörfler. The concepts are being incorporated into Intanify’s platform and have been piloted by Dentons to allow companies to surface risks before they materialise or are identified by another party, acquirer, or investor. The platform now supports accelerated IP audit and due diligence processes for companies and IP professionals.

Dentons will refer clients who could benefit from Intanify’s suite of capabilities, including IP valuation and risk assessment, and Dentons intends to pilot a white-label product. Intanify’s platform will, in the future, offer clients value-added services such as access to finance. Intanify will leverage its deep understanding of clients’ context to recommend when advice from a lawyer should be a priority. This symbiotic relationship ensures clients receive holistic support tailored to their requirements, seamlessly integrating technological and legal expertise.

This strategic partnership will enable Dentons to expedite specific workflows and deliver enhanced services to participating clients. By incorporating Intanify’s innovative technology into its legal service delivery, Dentons reaffirms its commitment to staying at the forefront of legal innovation and providing best-in-class solutions to meet its clients' evolving needs.

Commenting on the partnership, Dylan Dryden, CEO and Co-Founder of Intanify, said, “We are thrilled to join forces with Dentons, a global leader in IP and legal services, to drive innovation in the field. Justin has been a supporter since Intanify was conceived, and we’re thrilled to have his wisdom and clout behind this game-changing collaboration.”

Dr Justin Hill, Partner and Co-Chair of IP at Dentons said, “We look to pioneer the use of technology in legal service delivery. Today, this means procuring and deploying best-of-breed technologies in support of our operations and our clients. Intanify sets itself apart as a first mover with this type of expert system in the IP sector, and we are keen to deliver additional insights and enhanced efficiencies to our clients."

"For years, latent intangible value has remained unidentified and underutilised in high-growth technology businesses. Intanify’s AI-based expert system can deliver opportunities, identify certain risks, and assess the value of IP assets where previously it would have been cost-prohibitive to do so. This empowers innovative companies and their advisors to better understand, optimise, and leverage intangible assets to achieve all manner of business objectives.”

The leading independent legal directories have consistently recognised Dr Hill as a leader in the IP field. He is among an elite group of band one-ranked IP attorneys and named in the IAM 300 list of World Leading IP Strategists, in which he is recommended for IP management, consultancy, legal, licensing, M&A, and technology transfer.
