DeepJudge Lands $10.7M to Transform Legal Data Use

DeepJudge, a leading AI technology company, has announced the successful completion of a $US 10.7 million seed funding round led by New York-based Coatue. This investment will accelerate the development and deployment of DeepJudge’s AI-driven Knowledge Assistant, which leverages advanced Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) technology to ensure high-quality answers grounded in a firm’s comprehensive institutional knowledge.

“We are thrilled to receive this substantial investment from Coatue, which validates our vision of transforming legal workflows through AI technology,” said Paulina Grnarova, CEO of DeepJudge. “The Knowledge Assistant represents a significant leap forward in legal tech, offering precise, context-aware information retrieval that will greatly benefit law firms of all sizes.”

Caryn Marooney, General Partner at Coatue, led the round and shares: “DeepJudge is one of the first products on a mission to empower legal teams to harness their internal data to make strategic decisions. We are impressed by DeepJudge’s approach to solving data retrieval, which we believe is crucial to achieving high-quality generative results. We are excited to support DeepJudge as they seek to gain traction in the legal industry and grow their client base.”

The funding will be used to further develop the Knowledge Assistant, expand the team, and enhance the platform’s capabilities.
